GUESS WHAT, KIDS?
THAT'S RIGHT, I WENT TO JAFAX. 8D My parents, being the gracious people they are, decided to allow me to go. (And if you have NO clue what I'm talking about, read this --> [link] from before the weekend of Jafax and all it's worries.) I was so happy I almost had an internal explosion, or perhaps an implosion? I dunno.
I really wanna thank my best friend ever, ~Firedblue for supporting me and praying for me, even writing a journal for me to show her care and support, along with everyone else that prayed and crossed their fingers for me, or even just told me they were really sorry and wished I could go. I really, truly, sincerely appreciate each and every word from all of you. Thank so much, guys!
I'm just SO happy I could go, even if only for t he first day and not both. My first convention ever! It was amazing! Pick (~Firedblue) and I got asked for photos SO many times, I had originally tried to keep track of how many times, but by the end of the day I had completely lost track. lol

Also, ladies and gents, I'd like to apologize for not being active much at all lately. :/ I really regret it and hate when I have to go away for a while, come back and see how far behind I am on everything here, plus making everyone wait and wonder about the next deviation. I promise I'll submit some awesome Jafax shots I took. ^^

So, here's how everything went as far as where I've been: the week(s) before the convention I was still working to get everything together and my cosplay finished for the Jafax convention. The Friday before the con I went to a friend's pool party, went home with Pick for a sleepover with her and her cousin, Jessie, so the next day we got up and went to the con. Spent the WHOLE day at that place!! O_O It was amazing! Afterwards, I went home that night and had to immediately pack for camp, which I went to the next day for the whole week. I returned home on Saturday, which was a nice slow day after such a busy time beforehand. This last week I spent most of the time hanging with my best guy friend who lives across the street from me. (For anyone who knows/I've told why, please don't spill the beans to everyone, at least not yet. )

Other than that, as far as art-wise updates, I haven't drawn a WHOLE lot this summer seeing as I've been busy and uninspired. I mean, I was totally depressed for a while near the beginning/middle of May/June when I was told by my parents I was almost certainly not going to Jafax (again, if you didn't hear about this refer to the link mentioned above) so for about two weeks I wasn't drawing or really doing anything, including updating. I doodled a bit during camp, but I still haven't had a lot of inspiration to go off of.
